About

A journalist since 2003, I began copywriting during my time in regional and contract publishing in London – mainly in the form of advertising features. Staff jobs in the national press followed, with roles at First, ShortList, Stylist, British GQ and the Guardian. I’ve been a freelance writer since 2015, starting as a Contributing Editor for British GQ – writing about food and drink, travel, luxury and health – as well as writing features for titles including Brides, Skyscanner, Robb Report, Timeless and BA High Life. At the same time, I began honing my copywriting and copy editing skills for UK and international brands.

Since then, I’ve created content for websites and brochures; written social media, articles, newsletters and scripts for Glenmorangie; ghostwritten thought-leadership pieces for heads of business; crafted press releases for PR agencies; copy-edited several eBooks; named a collection of luxury penthouses; and developed the brand positioning and tone of voice for Snowdonia Cheese Co – as well as being their copywriter since 2020.
